This series of movies will be held once a month starting on October 26 & 28 at 7 pm. The first in the series will be Mary of Nazareth. We would like you to watch a Catholic movie with us at the Parish Square. Due to seating limitations, we can only accommodate 30 people on a first come, first serve basis.
“Mary of Nazareth is the woman of a full and total “Here I am to the Divine Will. In her ‘yes’, even when faced with the sorrow of the loss of her Son, we find complete and profound beatitude”. Pope Benedict XVI
In a memo dated May 21, 2020, I granted a general dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass to all the faithful through Sunday, September 6, 2020. We are all aware that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue. In light of this: the dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass is granted to the faithful through January 1, 2021. Obviously, this could change depending on circumstances.
A number of questions have arisen relative to choirs and congregational singing at Mass. Congregational singing and choirs at Mass, according to Provincial guidelines, “should not be allowed.” The use of a single cantor with an accompanist is being recommended.
Hampers are available at the East entrance of the church from 2-3pm every Wednesday during the Covid 19 pandemic. Please bring your identification and a bag. All proper protocol will be followed during this time.
