In a memo dated May 21, 2020, I granted a general dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass to all the faithful through Sunday, September 6, 2020. We are all aware that the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue. In light of this: the dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass is granted to the faithful through January 1, 2021. Obviously, this could change depending on circumstances.
A number of questions have arisen relative to choirs and congregational singing at Mass. Congregational singing and choirs at Mass, according to Provincial guidelines, “should not be allowed.” The use of a single cantor with an accompanist is being recommended.

Hampers are available at the East entrance of the church from 2-3pm every Wednesday during the Covid 19 pandemic. Please bring your identification and a bag. All proper protocol will be followed during this time.

■ All Faith Formation Programs: Forgiven, Book Club, St. Cecilia’s Choir, Mom’s Prayer Group, Bible Storytime, Children’s Liturgy, Once Weekly Catechism, Confirmation, RCIA, Stations of the Cross

■ Communions at home and at the hospital and personal care homes

■ All CWL meetings, all planned CWL activities and CWL Convention

■ Life’s Vision Banquet and all meetings

■ Knights of Columbus, Fish Fry, Pancake Breakfast, Chase the Ace, meetings and any other planned activities

■ Prayer Group, Choir Practices, Serra Club, Senior Social Club, Finance and Parish Council Meetings and any other activity or meeting that was forgotten on this page

Donations to the Church:

■ We would be very appreciative and grateful to everyone if they still helped us pay our bills by dropping off their collection at the Parish Office between 8:30am-4:00pm. Thank you in advance for your generosity. The priest will offer private Masses for the donors intentions, and for all our parishioners and community members.

Or…. perhaps you have not been Confirmed and now desire to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
